A license is required in most cases in Belgium and Europe. I hold the necessary certifications for professional use (Open A1/A3, Open A2, and Specific/EUSTS). Compliant with European standards, these certifications allow professional pilots to access all geographic areas in Europe, without weight limits.
However, a drone cannot be used in all circumstances. A flight requires preparation. One must take into account the weather, the topography of the area, and the places being overflown. Certain areas are indeed off-limits for flights or require prior approval.
